6mm and 10mm hoses are virtually 1/4” and 3/8”.

We are talking about the larger sizes, I didn’t measure them but I bet they are something like 14 or 16mm.

I don’t see 14 or 16mm fuel line on their site.

Check both of these to get the full size range:

Ø16mm is .0049" larger than Ø5/8 so I can see why it is not stocked. 16mm is too large for the FJ62 fuel applications. I may order the size larger than 3/8 listed above in metric so I get proper fit and I can use the OEM tension clamps.

$20 is US sized hose gets me on the road for this weekend.

I used 1/2" (2LF) for the overflow line (The 5/8" would be far too big). It was definitely a b$tch to get them on, but it worked. I had originally tried the braided cotton cover that looks like the OEM stuff, but the wrap didn't allow enough stretch in the line to get over the barbs in the fittings.

The other thing I did was to wrestle all the lines on the fittings outside of the truck (I had all the components out), and let them sit for a day or two to stretch them out. Made it easier to connect everything up while hunched over working inside the quarter panel.

All the other lines I bought were 1/4" (7 LF), 5/16" (7LF) and 3/8" (5LF), plus the 1 foot section of 1-7/8" line for the main filler tube. All of these fit nice and snug.

Also, there are 2 different fuel "Valves" (see image). The one out of my '87 HJ60 used 5/16" line, the one out of my '84 FJ60 used 1/4". The above lengths allows for both styles, so you would have a couple feet left over of one or the other depending on which manifold you have.

On my 88 FJ62 I did not use any Ø5/16 line. I used 1/4" and 3/8" for the small stuff.

The 1/2" line was way too small IMO for the two larger hoses. I initially threw on a 1/2" hose and was very unhappy with the way it was stretched. It didn't give me the warm and fuzzies and made me think it would be prone to failure down the line.

What size hose fits that middle evap connector? The 5/8 hose is too big. So my guess is 14 or 15mm. But which one is it really? hmm.

You mean the large one in the middle? That's where I used the 1/2" line. Then the far left bent line out of the bracket is 3/8", the rest are either 1/4" or 5/16", depending on which bracket you have.

I'll see if I can get a picture of the 1/2" line on that fitting....

Thank you for the confirmation. I'll plan on sourcing 14mm hose for those two.

Bringing back an oldish thread....
That in addition to the ones that I ordered from the list that were not discontinued. That gets all rubber from the filler neck to the carb
Are you saying you trashed the metal pipe and used rubber line all the way? I am trying to figure out what to replace the metal pipe on frame with? Thanks

Yeah, those last few are weird diameters. I got to the same point you did. We might need to find something off another OEM.
hey matt, curious if you found these hoses for this fella I need the exact same ones.

thx
