Ordered my rack today! Should be here in a week or so. Thanks Tim. Looking forward to “rack life.”

Went with the 8 gussets, fairing, and open moonroof. Also added two of the awning receivers. Ordered an Ironman 6.5’ awning tonight. Really like the idea of just strapping s*** down. Glad I found out about Gamiviti before I sunk a lot of money into something like a Rhino-rack.

Will update.
Love my Gamiviti! If you are adding an LED light bar to the front and want a clear front fairing, mp me and I can send you a PDF of the template I made. My build thread shows how I made it.

Strongly considering a Gamiviti for my 2022. @r2m really should be in sales of he isn’t already
yes indeed! Always grateful for the awesome support from @r2m and others here. We also have clear fairings as a stock option now, if you want to go that direction ;)

Ha-ha!! Wish you had the clear fairings when I purchased mine!!
But thanks very much (at the time) for the template to let me make my own clear fairing. It still looks great!
I had to modify it a wee bit to be a little taller to meet up to the RTT.

I'm considering this roof rack as well. I'm down in New Mexico but have family in the Denver area. What would lead time be if I were to drive up and have you help with installation?

We try to keep the Essential Expo racks in stock, so it's either always on hand, or in process somewhere... lead times can be 0-6 weeks. On anything more custom, we're usually about 6 weeks out. At this moment, the next GX460 Essential Expo will be available in about 4 weeks, but that could change any time when someone reserves it.. send me an email if you want to get something on the schedule, thanks. sales@gamiviti.com

Hey GX gang, just released another GX460 product, another "rack" of sorts, so will just bump this one up... new dashboard accessory panel. You may have seen these already as we've been doing them for the 200 series for more than a year now... finally got this one developed for the GX and so far pretty happy with the results.

few pics of the install...

the idea is you can mount charging ports, Ram/67 Designs mounts, etc. to the middle of your dash, so all of your accessories have a nice home, without any clutter of wires and stuff in front of the nav. These have been working really well in the other vehicles, for myself I really like having the USB charger up there as I run a tablet when out on adventure and it's great to not see any wires.

and these are in stock and available to ship any time, Dashboard Accessory Mounts — Gamiviti - https://www.gamiviti.com/dashboard-accessory-mounts there's a video on the website also for more install tips, including how to tap threads for the screw-on Ram mounts to bypass the track. Let me know if there are any questions, I look forward to your comments. 🍻

This looks like something I’ve been looking for. How stable/sturdy is the mount when it’s loaded up and bouncing down the road? It is terminally connected to the vehicle by the factory retaining clips for the speaker grille, correct?
Thanks for answer in advance and this seems like a really cool functional product at first glance.

Correct, the clips from the speaker grill are what holds it down. It's on there... requires a bit of effort to remove again.

I've had this setup for about 2.5 years and no issues what-so-ever. It's very sturdy. The clips holding the speaker grille are very strong. Driven very frequently on USFS roads and roads with lots of corrugations.

Have to admit you have a great setup MrTorgue, but personally I like Gamiviti products and Tim's a good guy, so between the two, if one doesn't have a RAM system yet, perhaps look at the Gamiviti system.

Tim, does a power cable/USB cable come out of your dash plate for the mounted accessories? If so, where do you pull the power from?
Do have a photo?

The GROM in the glove box so I can have carplay going while the phone is mounted.

I would run power directly from a battery, through the grommet in the firewall. It takes a little bit of effort, but I like knowing I can safely pull a few amps without worry of overheating anything in the factory harness. The reality is, it's just phones and ipads though so probably over thinking it. But on all of my installs so far the power is also coming from the 2nd battery, for a variety of other reasons.

You can see me do this in the 2008-2015 Land Cruiser install video

I too prefer to have my charging cables run directly to the battery (with a fuse). When out on the trail camping, it's nice to recharge phones, tablets, etc. overnight and the drain isn't enough to kill the battery overnight. Without a hard wire to the battery, can't charge anything overnight because the "accessory" on the ignition will auto turn off after about 20 minutes. That's why I have my fridge and charge cables hard wired to my second battery.
