Atleast this is what my truck looked like after my "time" at GMP, and it still runs :flipoff2:...

WOW!! That's just weird

Looks a little like the 91 Yota I just bought (engine fire only though). Just glad to see that it didn't start a forest fire too.

Nick, your recovery popped to mind when I saw this too. I thought for a second "at least the 80 still had one good rolling axle". But then I thought about how light that Jeep is, especially after a lot of weight must've burned off. Probably be similar to Franken80 towing John's rig with 4 flats - not too bad.

Damn, that is nuts! Glad no one was hurt, and since it has been dry, that they didn't burn down the side of the mountain.

Seen Saturday at Road Atlanta....

Think I saw that big military truck at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a NASCAR (yeah c'mon) race.

I could put the Sami on the back of one. I would love to turn one into a crawler hauler and base camp rig, but that will likely never happen. In my head it is freakin' sweet though :smokin:

Fuel economy basically makes it impractical for anything other than a lawn ornament. Although, it will run on just about anything... :hhmm:

Hence the "will likely never happen" part. Agreed they are completely impractical. Aside from getting about 2 gallons to the mile, I am sure they ride horrible, and having no AC would make summer traveling low on the Mrs's list, but I could probably get a radio in it at least for her.

A guy on mud bought that 80 from Fred. Its way more built now and the paint doesn't look as awful haha.
