Hi, this kinda scares me. Bent my pitman arm center link and figured replacing with a new one would be smart. guess I was wrong? installed the new one, and new power steering hoses. this morning before driving to work i figured Id give it a couple lock to lock turns of the wheel. and in the first turn... crack! get out and the center link arm is snapped completely off? I was under the impression that Fuji Joint was like an OEM part producer, made in japan, high quality parts no? it was from ebay and came from indonesia, so possible it was fake? it had the fuji stamp on the part and made in japan on it. very curious if anyone has had an experiance like this? Like should I get another Fuji one from a different more reputable supplier? or is this a one in a million thing. really glad I wasn't cranking turns through some tough trail, and then hitting the highway with a hair of steel holding my steering together for the highway home.

Thats scary! I had a ball joint fail like that once. Curious to hear what everyone says.

very scary, and scares me about replacing it. like literally broke leaving my parking space to go to work. not even a full turn and snap. Please, someone say this is one in a million or it was a fake one. please! I need to be able to sleep lol.

Joint Fuji is not an OEM supplier. They are aftermarket Japanese supplier.
ahhh, ok, based on the peripheral things Ive seen written I got the impression they are an OEM supplier. alright. well, moving forward Ill be running my bent one till i can find a new OEM one. Id rather be bending than breaking!

There are a TON of good used ones out there from people doing Saginaw conversions. Put an ad in the classifieds.

looking at the break, the discolored area was already cracked, bad from the start, the lighter color is a new break but it was already compromised

how did your first one bend? they are fairly strong

a few more pics to see underneath would be nice

I'd go with good used versus new, unless from Toyota,

finding a RHD it may need to come from overseas

I didn’t catch that it was RHD. That would make a big difference in finding replacements on this side of the pond.
