I have a 92' 3FE LC. Recently I replaced my fuel sender with another used unit that was known to be in good working order because my gauge needle was jumping/dancing and not marking correctly. The needle shows a fairly accurate depiction when I accelerate and then I let go of gas pedal, the needle will go down showing incorrect fuel levels. The needle seems to be affected by my acceleration/deceleration. I'm kind of at a loss as to why this is occurring?

Anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions?

I have had issues with a corroded ground wire. Pull the middle row seats, lift the carpet and unscrew the tank hatch cover and have a peak.

The ground wire connects externally, you could have a loose wire elsewhere as well
