Howdy all-

I am trying to trouble shoot my fuel delivery problem on my 76 fj40. I was getting no fuel to the carb, so I pulled the fuel pump. Before I tear it down and rebuild it. Is there a way to test the lines that fuel is getting through? Thanks for your time.

Drew the way I would do it ....

Put it back on and install a clear plastic fuel filter on before the fuel line gets to the pump. Have someone crank the engine Then have the line disconnected going into the pump. And then add the clear fuel filter. If that new filter fills up with fuel when reconnected then the fuel pump is locking up. I don't know if this covers your issue. But the filter should allow you to decide where the fuel is not getting through.

Have you already checked the line into the carb? It flow when cranking the engine?
