SOLD - THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED

Was planning on painting these, but have decided just to get some new ones instead. 1 is ready for paint, 1 is in the process of stripping and the other 2 are in their original state. They're fairly rough, but would make for a good project; one I don't have time for right now. Will be available for pickup between now & 2/5, then not until after the 25th of February, since I will be out of town. $150 - Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland 15 minutes east of the bay bridge.

I was hoping to look for a local buyer first. If I don't get any takers by the time I get back from vacation, I'll weigh em up. I imagine I'll be needing some $$ when I return ;)

I'm an hour from DC, Baltimore, MD & Wilmington, DE, for anyone else looking.

Do you know what the backspacing is on these rims. I want them for my 3rd generation 4Runner, 285/75/16 rub my upper control arms with my stock rims. I have a contact in that area that could pick them up for me.

Let me know

It's looking like 4 5/16", if I'm measuring correctly.

I will need to do a little investigating to make sure they will work. Unfortunately it is in the teens here in Chicago-land so I will prob. have to wait for the weekend to find a garage/shop to get the wheel off and do some measuring.

Thanks for the pic's and I will let you know shortly. That is unless somebody else on here can verify if they will work?

they will work with your runner. i had them on my 98LTD with 285 MT/R's and stock arms, 2,75~3" front lift. lots of room between sidewalls and uca. best looking wheel for the 3rd gen.

the BS for these are actually 4.5"

The backspacing on my stock rims is 4.625" and the 285/75/16 STT's rub the upper control arm, well they more than just rub - you can't even get wheel on.

Unfortunately it looks as though I am going to pass on these, thanks for your time.

your 285s rub on stock rims because: a) they're narrower rims 7" vs 8". this causes more sidewall buldge. and b) the 4.625 backspacing moves the wheel inboard, causing rub. the 4.5" backspace moves the wheel outmore, giving more clearance between the uca and sidewall. lower backspace # = wheels stick out more.

that said, some 285's on stock wheels will rub where others wont. usually its the less agressive a/t type tires that are fine where the bigger lugged mt's cause the problems...
