I need to do something with the seats in the 40. The driver seat doesn't move and there is some sort of bracket on it while the other seat isn't even bolted down.

Now this truck has the tank under the floor so the seat mounts are different than older models.

I'm wondering if any knows if the seats out of a 60 will bolt down to the floor?

There is a 60 being stripped up in Maine and if it was an easy install I'd grab them.

I think the seats may be the same but use different tracks. That said, let me know if you'd like to sell the FJ40 seats.

whether or not the 60 seats fit I'll likely sell the ones I have. These originally came from Jason so he would know best what they are. I'm 40 illiterate.

landtank, did you see the seats I have for sale in the FS section?

just looked. They seem for the older style tub to me.

Definitely not. They are the factory reclining seats. Those were not offered until 1979, when the fuel tank was moved underneath the vehicle.

Best

Is that price correct?

If you want to pay for them now and wait til Feb to get them, I might be able to get them MUDshipped to VA.;)

right now I'm going to hold off as I can get them cheaper from Cruiserparts.net and they are within driving distance from me.

I'll let you know after I see what James has and the quality of them.

picked up the seats yesterday. The mechanisms need some work and there is some tares in the material. Pretty much what I expected.

They actually are for a RHD truck. Which is good since I've decided to ditch the conversion anyway.
