Most of my inner skirting is missing, that keeps mud, moisture ect out of the engine compartment. Rather than replacing with stock I was thinking of using some semi-flexible rubber and either wire or zip ties. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience or better ideas? Thanks!

I've replaced some of mine with some flexible rubber sheet. I used the black diamond plate pattern rubber mat that is sold in a roll at Autozone. I put the smooth side out instead of the diamond pattern. I suggest picking up some body clips while you're at it. Much easier that zip ties and will work with the factory holes in the inner fenders.

Thanks, I'll have to give that a try. Do they have those clips at Autozone or did you get them from a Toyota dealer?

Hi, They are cheap from the dealer and Dorman Industries sells similar ones. Mike

This gray pvc shower basin liner that I found at Home Depot has held up for a couple years.

i tore one section in doing the PHH for the second time and also replacing the starter. i purchased 3/16 neoprene rubber sheet and cut to shape and replaced with old trim clips -- need to get new ones. Plan to replace all with new when i have time.

my mechanic suggested things we call up here "Crazy Carpets" that are used for sliding.

Just a rolled up piece of plastic you could cut in the shape you wanted.
