I'm sick today so progress has been slow... slept till almost 11am... but I did finish the winch mount. This thing is a beast, if you can break my bumper system then you need to move up to a Humvee. Will post pics up here in a little while.

Get finished pics up & get me a shipping quote to 75165.

** Please note this is only a prototype. That being said welds are not completed and are not 100% safe. All bumpers here after will have the proper amount of passes and fusion required** Back to your regularly scheduled programming

As promised pics of the finished winch tray note it bolts to the frame and also to the wings making it all one unit.

Plenty of room with no chance of damaging anything vital

Some may or may not have to trim the lower part of their grill for the engagement handle

So there you have it fella's

With this in place your options are great. Wings selection, stinger selection and skid plate selection are all up to you.
As long as you have this winch mount system all my other products will bolt right up. Making this bumper system completely custom and modular.
I plan on building more styles of wings and stingers around this mount.
No other company is doing this. No other company is listening to what their customers want and implementing this in their design. No other company is offering a system that gives you the customer so many different configurations and options. These are purpose build. Meaning if your rig is a hardcore rock crawler and you need the the most approach angle possible, buy the minimalist wing set. If your rig is an expo truck and you need all around front end protection buy the larger more protective wing set.
Bull bars will also be available soon that will cover 100% of your front end. Headlight and corner protection, grill and radiator coverage as well.

Please if you have suggestions and idea's post them up here. I want to give my customers exactly what they want. This is how it should be, in my eyes. By buying my products your making an investment in my company to provide more guys just like you the best off road products available.
By telling me I want this and that your helping in the design of a bumper system or a roof rack that will effect the way you enjoy your off road experience. And that's what its all about, the experience. If a piece of equipment fails out on the trail, that can drastically effect your experience. If my bumper system can stop a deer or help protect you in an accident with out fail, then I did my job. If your able to get up the ledge that you couldn't before with the other guys boat anchor they call a bumper, then I did my job. If you have an accident and one of your wings is damaged you'll be able to call me and replace just that piece, not your entire bumper. This option saves you money and I did my job.

That's not a sales pitch, that's the way I feel about it. I'd like to thank you for your continued support and all the great PM's I've received wishing me success in this new venture. I cant tell you how much that means to me. And to all of you who have opened up your wallets and bought my products on pure spec without an online review or anything to go by, thank you very much. I plan on being around for a long long time so please save my number in your phone and give me a call sometime and let know how things are holding up. I dont keep regular business hours so feel free to call any time.

Although I'm a fabricator I may have to just buy one to save time for other projects on the cruiser.
How about an open top channel to match a hitch receiver in size so I can drop my winch in when I want (or move it to the rear bumper) and when on a different type of trip I can use the winch space of the front bumper for tool storage. (Lockable of course)?

Jeebus that's a long post!!! Just an FYI, if you 'clock' that winch there's absolutely no need to trim anything! Shipping to 75165 please kind sir.

Actually the winch is removable without taking the mount off as I first thought. I just had a PM from a member that suggested a air tank in that area for those that dont wanna run a winch. What sayeth MUD? It could bolt into the winch mount and have a air chuck built into it.... sounds like a cool option for those guys that are needing more air capacity. You'd have your compressor up front and your tank right there.

The tool box is a cool idea though, elaborate a little further with your idea if you would.

I'm thinking a strong box with an amp plug for power and a control plug mounted high and dry.
The open channel mount would allow the winch to drop in and mount with a single pin. (It would need to have guides to take side loads too). I think the fairlead should come off with the winch too.
When the winch is not mounted a lid would slide in and cover the entire box with say 3/16" plate and a lock...
Oh, why not use the wings for air tanks and be able to pin in a compressor? There will be power avail in the box already.

Sounds good will have to look into it. PM me if your truly interested in ordering a bumper. Thank you sir.

Quick question, how do you clock the winch? I've heard of it but not sure how to actually do it.

Thanks

Looking very good. Nice work on this bumper. Total weight? Not that I really care too much, but usually someone has asked by now.

Now you mentioned it I am wondering what the bumper looks like with full bull bar. Since I am looking for the safari look I wouldn't mind a full bull bar. Jason, you think we can work in a bull bar is it looks good?

Also it would be interesting to see how that would be more modular.

Total weight I estimate to be around 90 LBS.

Q you'll have to give a few days on that brother I'm still down with the sickness. But I'll whip one up and play show and tell.

Q I'm a workaholic brother just cant seem to stop...

Here's some close up pics of the welds on a winch plate.

In case you didnt think I could weld.... well your right

These are all 2 passes. My machine can easily weld 1/4" plate in a single pass but I double passed it anyway. I also did a break test and couldn't get it to break even with a 10 LBS. sledge hammer.
Alright I'm going back to bed... still sick.

Thanks guys, Jason
