Freeze plugs for a 1973 1F

Good Morning every one

I'm ready to replace the freeze plug but I buffle with the plug on the right and I need your help. The plug on the left I will be replacing but the one on the right is the one I have no idea what to do it looks to me that some one has filled with lead? or maybe this is how it came for the factory?

Are these the only plugs that i need to chage

That is not how it came from the factory. It should look just like the other welch plug (not freeze plug). These are dome shaped plugs that are no longer available from the dealer as of last week when I checked. SOR has them, and maybe some other places. I ordered some brass 50mm freeze plugs from Rock Auto (but I see you are in Ecuador, and that probably doesn't help much). The 50mm brass freeze plugs that I ordered from Rock Auto had an external diameter of 50.5mm. The diameter of those holes (at least on mine) were about 49.6mm. I used a belt sander to take them down to about 50mm so that they would pound in snugly. The reason freeze plugs don't work as well, (also those rubber expandable plugs that you can get at any auto parts place) is that there is a lip inside the cavity - see below pic. You just can't get them in far enough.

As far as "the only plugs you need to change", that depends. There's a bunch of plugs if you want to dig in to all of them. You can go here and see all the plugs required - Page 052 Land Cruiser Gasoline Freeze Plugs & Block Heater.
