as long as they are made in the USA and not CHINA....and i think my mother wants to buy me a Smart car to replace the 100 so i can get better milage, hahahaha.

k, just ordered two of the ones you linked me to and a 3"x20' strap. Now i can get rid of that dangerous strap i have with the hooks on the end!
If you take out the middle/back seats, I think you can fit it in the back seat. Either that, or on a hitch carrier.
if i get the convertible one and chop the windshield/take the roof off i bet your right! DAMN that would be an awesome setup. Ok, time to go look at specs on the smarts, haha.

i do - i never mounted mine cause they didnt work with my light bar. Still sittin in my garage. LEmme find them. I dont remember what i paid for them - but whatever it was is what ill sell em for.

Are these still available from the shop that produced them?
The minimum # that made financial sense when I originally developed these was 20 qty. Don't know if there is an opportunity to do another run of the 6061T6 or not. Guess it depends whether or not there is interest in 10-pair.
I'm in for 2 possibly 3... what will it cost with bolts included?
They were originally, 3-years ago, $120/pair with 10-pair manufactured. It goes up considerably on smaller qty (plus bolts; bolts are around $4 each plus HD washers). But the guy had scrap 6061 laying around that allowed this price.
I really love those brackets. I had to cut 2 small pieces of the ARB deluxe bar mount on each side in order for the shackles to fit. I was really stuck in mud once and my friend who came to get me out got stuck too. It took two tow trucks to winch me out of that mess. The factory hook would have been bent or broken off for sure.
