Ok...just picked up the rig from Samco. Just driving on city streets the rebound, especially up front (no tuning...just out of the box), is significantly better than the OME's. I once thought the OME t-bars weren't stiff enough however after getting the Foxes installed I feel the problem/symptom was with the rebound of the OME shocks. Can't wait to get it in the dirt...

Oh yeah...and the ride is oh so smooth!

I picked it up on the way to work this A.M. so no picture snapping opportunity. But I'll snap some picks tonight and post them up. They fabbed a nice upper shock mount bracket so that they did not have to cut the stock shock towers off...nice if I ever need to reverse the path! They had to lower the rear shock mounts...

You're gonna have to update your featured rig thread now. :flipoff2:

Please snap a shot of this too please. Upper mount or lower mount?

They cut the factory rear lower mount off...and welded their fabbed lower bracket that extends below the stock mount.

The kid ask a question, you trying to dodge it? :flipoff2:

When are we going to see you on the trail?

BTW we scheduled Strawberry for the Sept run. That might be a good test.

I can't run with the 6" lift crowd...and they know it! :D:D:D

A few pics of the new shocks and brackets...

Out of the box. Feels great on the street. I can't wait to see how they feel off-road. Might just be fine as is...they are definitely on the active/compliant side...which should be even better off-road. More droop in the front since the shock is smaller diameter than the OME's. The only thing I am a little concerned about is how the rear lower mount area will handle the rock spray from the front tires. I may have to fab a flap to divert away from the shock. But Sam said they are very hard/durable...
