And he just doesn't give a **** obviously since he is not only driving it around with no plates he is taking it to car shows.

Cheers
Makes you wonder if it is insured.

More power to him...more risk than I could tolerate

It probably is. But I suspect that if he needs to use that insurance for anything significant he will be hard pressed. Which may be troublesome if you door dings a Ferrari at cars n coffee of hurts someone on the open road.

Agreed.
Now wether it's "legally" insured is another question. I highly doubt it is. I can guarantee if you wreck and hurt someone/something on a mis-represented or vehicle thats not legally in the US, bad things will happen. If there is one thing insurance companies care about, it's money. Anyway to get out of a claim, or sue the crap out of the other person will happen if need be.

Not a risk I'd be willing to put my livelihood on over a cool vehicle.

The Papp is back...with all new accessories.

Ugh. That wheel and tire combo is disgusting.

kinda like this jeep thats local to me, pretty cool rig, running 35" beadlock alloys, I hit him up about them and they turn out to be cosmetic!
What the hell would you want rubbish like that, fake cap screws, that are glued in or something- hit one rock and they will probably snap in half like the black things on the 70 in this thread

Funny how even down here in rural South Georgia I'm required to have a license plate on my 10' lawn mower trailer however in the State's capital license plates are undoubtedly not required.

So owner is driving it without plates or it goes to the show by trailer?

The lawyers at TMS must be sleeping on the job to allow this truck to remain here in the US this long.

He hopped in with three buddies and drove off. No trailer.

TMS has no grounds. Nor would we want that. Every non-US vehicle would then be threatened.

The feds on the other hand..

If I drove that to where I work. I guarantee you that I will be hearing from TMS or at the very least enforcing the Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act by contacting the feds.

Also if you watch the 2019 Caffeine & Octane videos on youtube (this cruiser pops up in some of the videos), there are appears to be heavy LEO presence around. Either this guy made it legit somehow or he is very ballsy.

A buddy sent me some pictures of that from Sunday. He said the owner claimed it was registered in Dubai with visit visas?

He said he bought it in Dubai & it's on a "visit visas" but you can renew it.....

I used to like these trucks, but seeing them all 'blinged up' like this has really turned me off. Not a big fan of all the plastic at the front of the new 70 series either.

Long live the old-school 70 series!

He’s Honduran, and as someone mentioned, when he has issues renewing, he’ll probably just drive it down there.

Kudos I guess. Cool seeing one here.
