A project 60 for sale
I am parting out a tan/brown 60 series landcruiser. I was going to restore and rebuild it and now have decided to go back to school. I have pretty much every part except the hood, pass. fender, and radiator support. So it could also be a project. It is completely taken apart and the body has been sanded and primed. It has a clean title. I will take bids for the parts and please give a reasonable bid. The cruiser ran perfectly before I took it apart. The engine has 185,000 miles on it and runs smooth. The transmission was also great. The carb was rebuilt and tuned less than a year ago. I have every part available so please help me out... THANK YOU.

Beat up FJ60....
Just gauging interest here. I have an 86 FJ60 that I was going to fix up, yeah I know.
the following parts are new
starter
alternator
fuel pump
and about 4000 miles on a clutch replacement from Landcruisers NW.
this truck is rusty around the rear fenders but the doors and tailgate are fine.
there is some rust on the rear hatch near the window. 217,000 miles and it runs well, although it needs a tuneup and the springs are pretty shot. I drive it regularly to go windsurfing an hour one way and she does fine....
I just don't have time to fix this truck as I have two jobs. I could get a good amount parting it out but I don't have the space as I live in an apt. And besides I would like to see it get fixed up, although it would take some body work.
I am not sure what I could get out of it but am thinking around 1,500. If I am way off base here someone can correct me.

What are you looking to spend? Any particular year? What kind of "project" are you looking to get into? Restoration, wheeler, daily driver... Nice stock cruiser.. I might have something you would be interested in, or maybe not. It is in Utah.

Custom rear bumper and tire carrier. Kayline softop. Painted in Hammerite smooth red by yours truly! New clutch and brake mc's. rebuilt front end. P/S. New Goodyear MT/R's. Shackle reversal.
