I just stopped by to look at the pig. Apparently the owner just moved to Bellingham so I got their cell number from the tenant. Their names are Chris and Jess and the number is 206-841-1806.
As for the pig, it looks like it is in decent shape.
PS fender, fender well, and the area around the headlight is crunched. It will need a fender (although driveable as is) and the rest could probably be beat back into place.
PS front door has a little damage where it looks like the fender hit it.
PS back door didn't seem to close all the way although I didn't open it, it just wasn't lined up exactly.
PS quarter has a baseball size dent down low by the rear bumper.
Rear tail gate has rust holes in each corner.
DS quarter panel good
DS doors were side swiped, not bad but there is a little damage.
DS fender has some rust showing on the lower corner although no hole at this point. It does have some other damage in the front of the fender but I think it is useable
Top has surface rust over about 50%.
Hood had a nice crease in it and doesn't close well.
Both bumpers have been hit.
I don't think there is a straight body part on the truck, but that said it really isn't in bad shape. The paint is really good except for the top and other the the tail gate and the DS fender, there really isn't any rust. If someone were to replace the PS fender with another green on, the pig would look pretty good.
I'm not sure on the glass. The DS and PS front doors have the windows down (they weren't like that in the past) and I saw one piece of door window glass in the back of the truck. I didn't check the front windshield but I don't remember any major damage. I think the rest was good.
I didn't get inside but the interior looked fine, although I don't know for how long with those windows open. I think the front seat had a cover and I noticed original floor mats. Odemeter read 54,xxx. Has Oregon plates, last licensed 2003.
My only check of the running gear was to open the hood. I couldn't see any reason why it wouldn't run. Battery looked good, looked like everything was there. I was to lazy (and the ground was wet) so I didn't crawl underneath. At a quick glance, it looks like there is surface rust on everything.
Assuming the running gear checks out, I think it would be a pretty solid truck to work with. I'm half tempted to look into it myself... but you go ahead. Let me know what he wants for it after you talk to him. If you need me to follow up on anything, let me know. It's less than a mile from my house.
