My 4Runner is really coming along nicely. Haven't seen you around for a while. I finally regeared and got dual ARB's. Lots of other stuff halfway done. It does pretty good. I'm keeping it and dumping my pavement pounder JGC.
It's time for me to step up for a bigger family hauler. Good thing my wife is clueless about this stuff.
I have been looking for a while now on SOR and Ebay, local papers too and still cant find what I am looking for. I am in the market for a FJ40. Anywhere between 2 and 8k. Big range I know but am open to buy something clean and running or rough and needing TLC. I am willing to ship from anywhere but want to get a solid feel for what I am buying.
I am looking for a weekend cruzr, no real heavy duty offroad. Would prefer stock body but open to anything. I am going to start another thread but just in case I will ask here. I will want to put a lift on it (4" or 6"). Anybody got a good ballpark? Local shop told me about $2500 with new rims and 33's.

So you regeared your 4runner with what ratio, I know you already had 4.88 gear. Did you mount some bigger tires ? How's the ARB lockers? Are they good?
i need shifter knobs(trans&t-case),rubber pedal pads(gas,brake,clutch),dome light assembly,maybe a carb.even some door panels,and rear interior panels.
