It would not take much to make this cruiser look awsome, I may paint prior to selling it and that will be refflected in the price.

Forgot to mention it has factory air that is not working, still a bonus for the hot parts of the country.

1985 FJ-60 FS in WI

1985 FJ-60 4x4 with air, blue rusty exterior, grey interior. Lived its life in MN, so it isn't a rust free show winner....

4 speed tranny/tcase (shifts fine)

Frame/drivetrain is very solid. New leaf springs up front.

Needs the following

ARB winch mount bumper on the front, has been straightend somewhat, dented from accident.

33" tires all around on 15x9 white spoke rims

$1500 for it. Would make someone a good offroader/dd/winter beater/whatever.

Amazing - this cruiser was for sale in July when I was first looking.

I never made the trip over to Tejas because of the high price. Some folks are slow learners!

Yeah, I drove 3 hours one way to look at it. It's a 3 owner Texas only truck and it is pretty clean. But for this area it is overpriced even with Diff. locks. Only reason I posted is that it might be reasonable to someone else. If they had gotten down to the mid 13's I would have taken it.

I love Range Rovers!!! You cut the front end off, and they make great trailers for hauling firewood!!!

Miletwo

I just drove by the pig again and it's still sitting there. The phone number on the sign is 360-303-1246 which is a different area code than where it is sitting. If you are interested I can stop by this weekend and try to get some info.

If you get a chance... that would be great. I've tried calling that number but either nobody answers or I get a "this mailbox has not been set up yet" message.

Thanks Tom

Jeremy

They do have the advantage of a full-floating rear, but you have to weigh that against the Lucas electrics... :flipoff2:

Prince of Darkness!

I put a couple of bids on it. Then some one from Tejas emailed me about it. I offered them 10k and they said no. So I told them to let it sit then.

Personally, I think it is worth more than you bid.... it is clean, but not worth what they are asking. I bid 11,800 on it the first time it was listed and was high bidder, but below reserve. I called them about it and they said they did not have "much room" in it to haggle. So either they paid too much for it, or they think someone uninformed will come along and pay 14 something for it. They don't even mention the diff. locks in their ad and the salesman "Brann" that went with me on the test drive didn't have a clue what I was doing when I engaged them (off on the grass of course).
We have a local GM dealer that has had a '91 4WD suburban (nothing special) on their lot for $8,500 for the last 6 years! NO JOKE! 6 years. That is their prerogative, but it doesn't make good business sense to me.
