I saw that. I have buddy that had a 40 that was totally decked out for about every possible situation. He had flashlights, gun racks, map pockets, etc, etc screwed through the roof all over. Silicone was his friend. When I saw that 60 from a distance I thought it might be yours...I apologize!! Red, black rims, rack, etc :D

Obviously there are too many red 60s around here! Maybe I should paint mine ORANGE or something. :D

Wisc: GMC 2500 HD

Selling my daily driver, time to buy a 80-series for a daily driver...

2000 GMC Sierra 2500HD extended cab 4wd 6.5' box, 79,000 miles
6.0 injected gas, 4L80E auto, auto t-case (great in winter), 3.73 gears
dark blue exterior, grey cloth interior
255/85-16 BFG-MT's on stock rims (33" x 9.5" or so, speedo is 10% off)
K&N, manifold back dual 3" exhaust (throaty, but smooooth)
power windows, power locks, CD
Tekonsha brake controller, full towing ready, 4wheel discs and ABS
soft tonneau cover, nice one...none of those useless snaps to break or velcro to wear out
plastic bedliner, custom CB antenna mount (matches radio location - clean look)
Bilstein shocks, very nice ride compared to stockers

the 4wd dash switch has been replaced (common problem)

Did a trip to Missouri (unloaded) and back (loaded with a 1000#+ pool table) and got a solid 15.3 mpg at 75mph. Did a trip to Attica last fall, one of the other rigs was a 8.1 powered Chev and it got 1mpg less with a similar trailer load. Believe the tow capacity is 9800# or thereabouts. (4.1x gears got a higher capacity, but lower mileage...)

$15,500, located in Appleton WI

There is one less! We shot the primer coat on mine and I spent most of last night wet sanding. Shooting her "'86-'87 Toyota Beige" as soon as I finish smoothing out the primer.

I'll settle it, its NOT a frame up resto.........PLAIN AND SIMPLE, prolly is a very nice Cruiser but its not a resto and thats OK! a resto would be all metal, stock 2F motor(with smog) stock drivetrain, all OEM parts used were possible(NO GM parts) and stock color(if not the original it must be a stock fj40 color and ALL repainted) paint and body work(if you can't see the spot welds its not stock) a small lift is OK IMOP. Things like adding a H55F trany in place of the 4 speed is OK.

not trying to be an ass but these guys are right. I also don't think your trying to misslead, just your idea of a full frame up resto is not what most would consider a frame up resto. Would you consider a Vette with a pinto motor stock? prolly not ;)

it doest matter to me what your interpretation of "FRAME UP RESTORATION" is

thats what i KNOW it is.
good day to YOU sir

More info..somehave been asking

This 94 was definitely a mall cruiser when I bought it last year. Have receipts from previous owner for all maintenance items ... nothing spectacular ... just regular stuff. I spoke to the previous owner about it. He gave it a clean bill of health. He did have it detailed twice a year for his wife. She actually was the driver of the LC. He traded it in for a newer LC for her. I bought it from a Toyota dealer.

All I have done is replace brake rotors and recently brake pads. Other than that, just routine oil changes, etc. I have all my receipts from the Toyota dealer in Rock Hill. BTW, I actually live out near Lake Wylie in SC ... so I have not worried about the CE light on for EGR (which was on when I bought it).

This 94 is just about spotless, nearly perfect, runs like a champ....all options ..3rd seat, etc.. Think you saw where I have just returned from a trip to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland .. (have pics). LC ran perfectly and I would leave for Alaska or anywhere this morning without doing anything to it.

I am thinking of actively selling this LC and taking over my daughters Outback. She needs to get out of it, and I kinda like the Outback ... but I am more than happy with the LC as well.

If you want to see it, give me a call and I will share what I have on maintenance records with you. 704-214-4003.

1970 FJ40, Cleen and all stock $4000 obo

Stock FJ40 '70 Asking $4200 OBO

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m selling my FJ . The 40 is almost bone stock, and looks great. I just don’t have the tiem or money to beef her up.
I recently had a valve job done to it, with hardened exhaust valve seats put in also. I put new rings and rod bearings in at the same time. She runs and drives like a queen.
It is the stock F motor, transfercase, and threespeed. so theres no PB, PS PW or any or that. The tires are practically new. Has alwas been in CA, so verry little rust. I'm only the 2nd owner (I believe). The only rust is in two spots; one on the driver side fender, and one under the passenger door. there in the pictures. Rgrestration is good till 07/2005.
Let me know if you’re interested. I'm in Fairfield, CA, 45min west of Sacramento, off Interstate 80. if you have any questions E-mail me at Matt_Ferguson@sbcglobal.net .

I have pictures on the internet. Go here ---->>

78 FJ55 For sale Runs

I picked up a 1978 FJ55 about a month ago my dream rig but im unable to keep it , i just don't have the time to put into this rig , it runs and all the 4 wheel drive stuff works good , the rear hatch was rusted away so i picked up a new one localy for $100.00 and put it on , the window motor worked when taken apart , the motor runs but the carb could use a rebuild , i drove this thing home it has the usual toyota steering loose with slop , the battery was shot so i purchased a new battery for it , I paid 1600.00 for the whole rig plus a 100.00 for the rear hatch , and 50 bucks for the battery , All i want to do here is get my money back , the cruiser is in fairly decent shape has the usual rust on it , and the front seat is pretty ripped up , im asking $1750.00 for it , the cruiser is located in Washington State on the Seattle side , I would prefer not to ship it , but if you gotta have you arrange and pay for the shipping ,
Thanks
