Parting out 83 FJ60, complete
I just acquired a complete FJ60 that I am parting out. Truck is complete, but motor is not running according to PO. Not sure what is wrong with it, but he says it is something major. Havent dove into it. Other then not running, it is complete. Body is rusty. May have some salvagable doors, but will look more closely tomorrow. Basically the entire drivetrain is up for sale. If you are looking for anything, interior (beige), drivetrain, motor parts, emissions, power steering, A/C stuff....let me know. I dont have a huge list with prices but I have a pretty good idea as to what things are worth, so make me an offer or ask any questions you need, and I will be happy to help. I just bought the truck to part out and make some cash and help some cruiser heads. The only thing I am keeping off of it is the rear hatch glass. Everything else is up for dibs. 1975 & 1971 FJ40's For Sale
Well the time has come. as previously posted on this board my department was being considered for a layoff and it has finally come down. I have 2 weeks until I am officially unemployed. Ugh. Anyway, What I have is my 1975 FJ40, stock, fresh sand dune paint, TRE's, besttop softop w/ doors, clutch and brake masters, all wheel cylinders, reupholstered seats and mel's ignition not installed. The motor has about 45K on a rebuild that was done by the PO. This rig has never been my daily driver and I am the second owner. Down side, the carb needs to be rebuilt and the taillights need to be rewired, needs a headliner and dash, door panels are in it and have a spare but needs to be dyed to match.
Secondly, my 1971 FJ40, I bought it to cruise, I began the 350 sbc conversion but not complete, It has a rebuilt motor w/ hi flo water pump, Carter carb, summit HEI dizzy complete, new shocks, add a leafs, new bumper, mini disc conversion and more parts but dont want to drag out the misery of how much time and money I have involved in these rigs. The 71 needs some minor work to complete but due to a previous heavy work schedule and now layoff It will not be done. I am located in San Antonio TX and would post pics if I knew how but email me and I can send pics. nspctr1@sbcglobal.net I am asking 13,250.00 OBO

Reduced price to $3000 OBO. I've had several people look at the truck and were surprised at the mileage - the body, etc. doesn't show it's age.

For the first time, I have considered selling my 94 LC. I bought it last year .. it had been a mall car ... don't think it had ever been off road. I put an ARB front bumper on for deer ... never saw a deer since...
The car is in execellent condition, runs great...just got back from a drive from Charlotte to Nova Scotia and Newfoundlad last week... got about 17.5 MPG running interstate speeds with AC on. The LC has the CDL switch on the dash, but does not have "lockers". Also, the EGR CE light is on... the local dealers just do not know how to turn it off ... so what the heck.
Guess I should also say that it has 138,000 miles, is the tan color, has leather, sunroof, cruise control, power windows, locks, remote key entry ..roof rack, cd player (which doesn't work very well), power antenna ... what else...? ... really should detail it if I put it up for sale .. it has been driven daily ... very little off road, but some gravel/dirt roads.
KBB says that the private party sale should be around $9870 ... sounds reasonable to me. The KBB retail is $12,590

77 FJ40 in Reno, NV. 15 gallon fuel cell with 22 gallon fuel cell. Cruiser runs great. Canadian cruiser, drove down from WA without a problem. Has OME 2.5 inch lift, 33 in. dunlop mudders, Aluminum tub, stock 2f engine. Great project vehicle, needs some work. If you want any more pics email me.
