1984 ?? HJ60 is from 1986 to 1987 in Canada.

Yes, HJ60s were 86, 87 in Canada. It could come from somewhere else, but that would have to be europe, since it is 24V and manual. I wonder whether it has the 5 speed or the 4 speed.
Also, the grill has been switched, since it does not have the diesel sign on it. The G is there on the sides.
hard to tell without knowing about miles and rust, but this could be a steal. not a biggie fixing that engine, probably.

General Information:
- 209,500 Miles
- Original/one owner
- White color with grey cloth interior
- Well maintained Texas (Houston) truck in very good condition, inside & out
- Smog tested on Dyno rollers and runs very clean (Harris County, Texas currently has very strict Emissions Tests)
Most recent SMOG Test Results:
- High Speed Emission Results (25mph) - HC (PPM) - 21, CO (%) - 0.02, O2 (%) - 0.2, NOx (PPM) - 1074, Dilution (%) - 14.9, PASSED ALL
- Low Speed Emission Results (15mph) - HC (PPM) - 24, CO (%) - 0.02, O2 (%) - 0.4, NOx (PPM) - 1252, Dilution (%) - 14.8, PASSED ALL
Don’t forget that this is a 20 year old truck that was well taken care of, but it’s a daily driver and it is used, but NOT abused. You will find the typical small stone pits on the hood and front fascia. I think you will be impressed with its condition (IMHO) compared to most FJ60's for sale with multiple owners, unknown history & covered with the typical rust.
Truck was used for general everyday commuting, weekend camping and out of town traveling. No rock climbing or wheeling, so all body parts are in exceptional condition. It is always dependable and got me to wherever I needed to go (typical Toyota!).
Minor Issues:
- Typical small tear on the entry side of the driver’s seat, seat foam a little flat
- Dashboard cover has cracks, but is covered with the dash mat
- 2 small rust spots on roof (passenger side towards the rear, NOT the gutter)
- Front passenger door (underneath door handle) was keyed about 18 years ago, but I just used touch up paint and it's held up for this long
I’ve taken a truckload of photos of the undercarriage, body panels & wheel wells. Please note that the underside may be a little dirty or dusty, but NOT the orange color of rust...
After owning it for so long, regrettably it’s time to move on.

- Replaced OEM (NEW) Toyota Carburetor & fuel filter, professionally installed (3 months ago), carb purchased locally from Champion Toyota in Houston.
- Replaced to Heavy Duty Catalytic Converter (3 months ago)
- Replaced Smog Pump (Air Pump), remanufactured unit (3 months ago)
- Replaced Clutch & clutch parts replaced with OEM parts
- Replaced Rear Main seal
- Radiator fan clutch replaced
- Replaced/repaired High Pressure Power Steering Hose
- Steering gearbox rebuilt
- Rebuilt PS pump
- Replaced fuel pump
- Cold A/C – converted to R134a freon, replaced AC expansion valve & pressure valve
- Replaced A/C Compressor (remanufactured unit)
- Replaced radiator, flush & fill coolant
- Replaced EGR valve
- Replaced water pump, gaskets & thermostat
- New battery & battery terminals
- Replaced oil sensor
- Replaced both motor mounts
- Installed Flowmaster 40 exhaust/muffler with larger (2 ½ in.) piping
- 85% of vacuum hoses replaced
- Window tint (smoke color), legal fronts and limo tint all around
Below is a list of the improvements/enhancements/upgrades/miscellaneous:
- Replaced front windshield.
- PE (Pinnacle Engineering) 3" Lift Kit, new leaf springs, Heckethorn shocks & poly bushings from JT Outfitter’s, with extended sway links.
- Tires - Yokohama Geolander AT II, size 33X12.5X15 on aftermarket 15 X 8 alloys, tires used about 12K miles
- Installed 2 (7 inch) electric fans in front of condenser with relay to come on when AC is in use, keeps temp gauge slightly below the middle during Texas summer
- Replaced tie rod/drag link ends, installed JT Outfitter’s Nitro Charged stabilizer shock/damper in stock location, 4 wheel alignment done
- Aftermarket PS Cooler installed in the front of radiator
- SOR brush guard
- Tow bar receiver & hitch (from SOR)
- Replaced front side orange markers, front turn signal lenses & rear red reflectors
Extras included:
- 4 OEM stock chrome wheels in excellent condition
- NEW miscellaneous OEM FJ60 parts that I can find in my garage
