these look promising, but I've not yet contacted them to see about fit on my 2015 200... this fits the bill on concept - especially not having to deal with the housing issues. Getting 2-color options would be great.

I just did a bunch of research to see if these will fit, and at least for my 2015 200 series, it looks like the same size as the reference fitment they have for:
2016-2020 TOYOTA TACOMA
2012-2015 TOYOTA TACOMA
2014-2020 TOYOTA 4RUNNER
2014-2020 TOYOTA TUNDRA
which all have H16 fitment. I talked to the shop and they said they are 55Watts, which match with the H16 rating for other application like Sylvania. They've never done a Land Cruiser, but I told them of the following here on Mud. They said they've done hundreds of Tacoma and Tundra. I'm excited to see how they do 7000 lumens on 55Watts...
I ordered up a pair and will advise!
Looking forward to update!
UPDATE: I got the CaliRaisedLED's and took the day Sunday to get these installed. I can tell you that getting inside the bumper and changing the bulbs is a serious PITA. Not sure who at toyota desired to make this such as task, but it isn't much fun without taking a bunch of screws and body clips out on the driver side. the passenger side is easier by far. To be fair, this is for any Fog bulb access, not just for this kit. These fit on my 2015 LC based on the fitment notes above. I cross-referenced the 2015 Fogs on the LC with the 2015 Tundra. As noted above, they call for the same H16 fitment, despite the kit being marked an H11. From my reading, the H11 and H16 are the same physical fitment, just a difference in wattage. the H16 fitment calls for 55 W and that it what this kit is.
Ok, but on to what you really want to know:
THEY WORK. Yep, they work great. The white color of the first setting is a match to the LED temperature of the Low-Beam projector on my 2015.
I had an opportunity to test drive them yesterday coming back from skiing in NH, and they did great lighting up the sides of the road, past the lines - in fact well past the lines and into the sides of the road on both sides, which for me is critical for spotting wildlife making a run into the road from either side. This has been a principal concern for me driving back country roads in the darkness of the early evening here in the winter. I didnt get flashed by anyone on the road in my tests and I ran them on the highway as well and paid particular attention to the vertical cut-off of the light on the vehicle a stopping distance in front -- which appears to be about the same as the Low-Beam projectors. So I don't think that these are throwing too much light up. I recognize this is a function of the lens and not the bulb, but with the increased brightness, i though perhaps this might be a factor. doesnt appear to be an issue.
Here are the lamps in the daylight in all three modes.
(Yes my plate has 570 in the number, but it's a pure coincidence. It's a Land Cruiser.)
The kit is advertised on the website as 7000 lumens, but the paperwork I got said 5000 lumens. the Box shows the following: CCA Tricolor H11 / 12V55W / 5000 Lumen. Here is a picture of the back of the box with specs:
OPERATIONS: Having the ability to swap to yellow on the fly is really cool... the yellow on snow-covered roads add good dimension and depth. I am sure this will be the same for gravel and dusty roads too. The 3rd setting of a combo yellow/white might also be good as compromise for both, and seems to be a bit more dim than the plan white alone, which might be useful if you do get some oncoming flashes. this color seems to be a bit closer to the factory bulbs I had, maybe a tad brighter, but even if the same lumens as the pure white, seem dimmer (likely with the addition of the yellow).
a Couple of item of note, or things I wished I knew before:
1) The bayonet ring which has the locking tabs actually separates from the body of the bulb. at first I wasn't sure why this was the case and thought my bulbs had an assembly issue, but I confirmed with the vendor that this was the case on all of them. I am still not completely sure why this, but it has 2 outcomes:
- it allows the bulb to rotated to adjust the leveling of the beams (this could be accomplished with just a fixed rotating ring, not one that separates completely)
- it allows the mounting ring to be installed in the fog assembly, without the bulb, which given some of the contortions I had to get into on the driver side, made installing a bit easier. not sure how this is going to go when/if I want to change them out, but I'll worry about that later. (because if I change them it's some other whole different assembly)
- the negative of this is that there is a very, very slight free movement once the bulb is installed. this was not in any way detectable during operations on a very bumpy road, but I do think about the longer term effect for some of us that run on faster gravel. In speaking with the vendor, this is normal and that they have these installed on a lot of Tundra and Tacoma and have not had any issues with satisfaction from others. Nothing has moved since I installed them and I ran a few very bumpy roads at moderate speed to test.
2) the color change is easily done and as shown in the video linked. there are a couple of small downsides:
-- there is no way to lock the color in. I didn't realize this until today when I was talking to the vendor, but once you shut down the truck - the default comes back as white. i wish it retained the last setting. they have gotten this feedback from others.
-- because our fogs go off when there is a high-beam trigger, depending on how quickly this is done, it could cause the color to change. In my tests if I went to high-beam for a couple seconds and then back, the fogs would change color. it seems like if I left the fogs on for a minute or two, they would come back the same color they were, but based on the point above, I am not sure this is true. I will test this further.
-- So now I want the "Pin 17 Mod" from the 100 series for "Fogs always on" - which should avoid this issue. anyone know if there is such a mod on the 200? I saw a thread about it, but no conclusions.
