Picked my new-to-me 96 Cruiser up Monday. Today, thanks to this board, I began baselining with an ATF flush and oil change. Also pulled some butt-ugly wind/bug deflector form the hood and yanked the running boards. BTW, any leads on front mud flaps? Anyway great board and I guess this is in order.

Nice looking rig - and welcome. I'd just pull the rear mud flaps and let it ride! I like the clean look.

Nice color. ;)

welcome!:flipoff2:

glad to see you got the best color. White adds about 2 seconds in your 0-60 time and about 2 miles per gallon!

Good luck maintaining any sense of control with your newly acquired obsession!!!

Man, that's a nice one. My only regret is not getting one in white.

Does Cruiser Dan not sell front mudflaps anymore? That's where I got mine. Otherwise, you might post a want ad. I'm guessing there's a few around from folks who had them, then went to sliders were they didn't fit anymore.

Cruiser Dan keeps the front mud flaps in stock. They are around $50 a pop.

So what, did you pull that jalopy out of a scrap yard? ;)

Welcome to the forums! This place is an amazing resource. I would do a lot less of my own work if I didn't have the support from this forum. I have cruiserdan's number in my phone...

Roger that. I just did the adjustment I asked about earlier, shifting much smoother now. The only downer on the rig so far is the last owner recently put new tires on. Kinda hard to buy some 33's when new rubber on there. I guess I need to follow flat bed full of roofing tacks around:) I have a epic fishing journey scheduled for the end of the month, hopefully I'll have some action shots after.

Lol, I'm in the same boat. PO of my rig (purchased in Aug) had put new tires on a couple months prior. Too good to upgrade now...
