Make sure Tucker's are chrome plated. He likes the bling :)

Bob, will you offer lower tailgate patch panels?

Tucker, cant get any closer. Billet Aluminum. At machine shop now to check feasibility.

Thanks Bob.

Gang, need some input! What would be a reasonable price for a pair of Billet Aluminum vents? Before you answer Please look at the detailed involved in machining these and also the fact that they are entirely unavailable. Also looking at other options besides machining. Input is Very Important.:)

Thanks Bob.:)

Cheap cruiserhead price: $100 a pair

Reasonable price considering the low volume and work involved: $300 a pair

I guess it all depends on how intricate/detailed your design for the vents is. Can you make a semi-flat looking vent out of stainless where you punch out the openings and mounting holes?

Bob,

I tend to buy unobtainum pieces I need when they are available, but I think any higher than $300 or so would be prohibitively expensive :frown: I'd rather have as similar to OEM as possible, are you seeing numbers north of this?

Pretty darn excited for my 63lb package to come in the mail. I will do a reveal when it arrives!

Started talking to people about paint jobs and what not. Never would have expected a year ago that my progress on the body would go so quickly. Thanks again Bob!

Bob,

Exploring possibilities, is extent, on the 76.

Know I'll need rockers, as I recently uncovered rot on the DS rear under where the rear fender covers, but I'm entertaining the idea of replacing the removed seat risers.

Have any interest in fabbing up the risers?

Very preliminary, but exploring all options. Would prefer to mount Ford ABTS buckets, but not sure of I want to undertake rear heater replacement or abandonment, therefore, the risers would allow for a IPOR bucket mount, if not a reworked front bench.

Anyhow....

Chris, we can make the risers. I need dimensions front and rear. When I cut mine out I wasn't putting them back so don't have accurate heights front and rear.

Thanks Bob.

OH, its more than 63lbs. That's just one box.:)

Thanks Bob.

Bob,
How are we supposed to paint, coat, or whatever the inside of the newly welded in rockers? There is no way to clean (alcohol, etc.) either. What have others been doing?

Midgainc, Eastwood makes an internal frame coating. There are 3 drain holes in bottom of Rocker you could spray it in. Also check with Scrapdaddy he used something on the inside of his. ROCKERS will last for ever anyway.

Thanks Bob.

Lower taigate body section

Due to Delancys ROTTEN ARSE. (I MEAN HIS PIGS ARSE.) This item is now available.

Thanks Bob.:)
