I want to flip the front springs on my 40 to gain a little extra wheelbase (back has '55 springs). I take it I will have to drill a new hole in the top leaf. Is this OK?
BTW, not doing a shackle reversal.

I kept the double wrap at the solid end and redrilled the 2nd leaf with no problems. For the double wrap to serve it's purpose, it does need to be at the solid end. If you reverse the front packs AND do a shackle reversal, no redrill is needed....

gotcha, I wanted to make sure it was ok to drill through the leaf.
Thanks Woody
