Hi all i am trying to fix my FJ70 with a 1FZ-FE engine that has a lot of issues.

  • The AC compressor is not the original and i want to get the right one what is the number?, as you can see on the pictures they did a really bad job no comments about the radiator hose.
  • The steering wheel fluid reservoir and and hoses has a lot of leaks, any suggestions on the parts numbers? the cane is touching the fender.
  • The fan clutch is dripping grease and as far as i know a mechanic told me it was direct.
the car is parked since 2 months ago since the transmission went out, i am in a small town in texas with limited experience mechanics so i have to go with a plan. i also had to sent my transmission to Georg for rebuild.

Any advice is appreciated!!

That’s not a stock bracket for the pump, and the pump is not stock either not sure what’s going on here besides they made it work. If you go on partsouq or a Toyota website and look at the 80 series Land Cruiser diagrams it will show you the proper compressor. Again I don’t know if it will work with your brackets. I have a couple of the correct brackets for a 1fzfe if you need one. I also have some used compressors. Your hoses might not work with a different compressor.

You can find a new fan clutch and associated hoses for your power steering pump on partsouq also.

That's some creative stuff. As above, that's not the correct A/C compressor for that motor and those hoses won't attach to the correct compressor. The alternator has the incorrect drive pulley on it, the one off a US 80 series will work. The two fan belts, closest to the motor, should drive the water pump and alternator as a pair, the third groove in the main pulley, should drive the A/C compressor. The power steering pump uses the same seals as the US 80 series. The hoses required for the power steer reservoir are generic oil rated hose, both can be straight hose, no pre formed bends required, the two hoses from a US 80 series won't work as that reservoir was only used on 70 and 105 series, coil pack/non distributor motor. You could order the "correct" hoses, but from memory partsouq and the like do not stock hoses for coil pack 1FZ motors, only Australia, the ME and some parts of South America, got that motor.
Water pump and fan clutch match US 80series, if the clutch is leaking, replace it, IMO, Genuine Toyota is the best available.
If you post a picture of the other ends of those A/C lines, I'll be able to tell you if you can just purchase US 80 series hoses, to match a US 80 series compressor, with the matching bracket mentioned above.
