That sort of thing was done by trailer rental companies years ago to get you out the door with 'trailer lights' - if you had no trailer wiring. Obviously a temporary setup.

Thanks for the responses. Threw me for a loop as I didn't expect to see something like that when opened up to simply replace a bulb.

X2....uhaul used to have/sell them. funny thing is they don't work with LC taillights because LC's use a separate turn signal
