I've got one I just listed in San diego. Roof need to be replaced, but the rest of the body is good. Unfortunately it is brown interior (most were brown)

I was watching that one. I think too much rust for me to repair. Worried I'd essentially need another roof basically.

Yeah, that would be the easiest would be another roof for it honestly. I had found a guy here on the forum selling a roof in tucson, but never did it because I started down on the other project.

Have you considered creating your own wtb thread?
No sir. Have more crap than I need. Apologize for high-jacking your thread. Tried sending Tommy a PM but his box is full. Should have clarified above that if you did not intend to buy his roller, then I was interested in the bumper.

I haven't been able to reach him either via PM / phone, still seeking details on it at the moment.

Perfect. Good luck and hope it works out. Should ask what are the limits to the condition you're looking for? I have one I was going to cut up in the near future. It's an 81 HJ60 with drum front brakes. I'll have to go look, but I believe it has rusted quarters and possibly some in the roof. The frame is solid. Being S. American, it's several shades of hand painted colors but mostly patina'd

Also have an 83 with a cut roof (ranch hunting truck) and rust in the rear quarters. IIR the mileage is in the 140's.

Trying for a southwest USA truck first and then branch out from that if I can't find one. Rust is probably the biggest thing I don't want to deal with.

Check out my post in fj60 classifieds today. Decided to put it up for sale. Runs flawless. Well maintained mechanics. Everything works great. A few rust spots. Manual 4 speed with a bunch of upgrades.. just need money for family and my kids.

Man, I've got a rust free 62, complete minus the engine. Bought it to build with my daughter for her first vehicle, but she decided she wants the 80...so, it's just sitting.

Downside, brown interior.

Thanks for the reply but I'd need the manual transmission. So 62's are out unfortunately.

Um, if you have a roller then its a matter if cutting two holes and installing a clutch pedal. Nothing major for a “full build”

:meh:

I understand that but just more things I'd have to source, master cylinder and plumbing to the new pedal box and chopping up the floor to fit.
Just more I didn't want to do for not any other gains over a bare 60 chassis (which I like the front ends of more anyway)

Yes I realize headlights etc can be swapped over as well, but again just more headaches to source parts etc.
