5 SPEED FOR FZJ-80 Conversion
just did that swap,on a Turbo 4Runner, and
now it halls ass with the installed 5 speed conversion

5 SPEED FOR FZJ-80 Conversion
I am bringing in an H150F from a '94 FZJ80. Your choices that I know of are the H151F or the H150F. The H151F is a direct bolt in to your 4.5 and tranfercase. The H150F is out of a diesel and has a different input shaft but has lower first, second, third gears. You run the Toy PP and a chevy disc.Things to consider are expensive pedal assy, different drive shafts, expensive clutch, possible mods to the ABS, possibly use an Aussie computer, and if you are in California forget it. Because the FZJ never came to the US with a manual there is no way to legally smog it. I have made good sources in Oz if you want me to ask. My 4.5, 5 speed and transfer are all going in my 55. Shipping the trans is expensive.

I better add that the trans I am getting is out of an HDJ80 for the technical.

fj40 interior pieces needed
Looking for some small stuff...
-one interior door latch bezel-black
-one cap for the side defrost vents
-the Defroster/Heater selector linkage (on the side of the heater)
-one of the defroster vent fins near the front windshield...(there are 2 black ones...one of mine had been drilled)

There is some rust near the top of the ambie doors.

Speedo Cable
Not sure if this helps or not, I bought a new cable from ccot that is a one piece from the back of the speedo all the way to the t'case.

Just go on unemployment and get signed up for welfare, foodstamps, etc.
You'll prolly take in 2000/mos. with all of your bills paid.
Make sure you don't work though, they'll take it all away.

Did you get a part time transfer? Wanna trade with a non-VC full time?

Thank you! I figured someone would straighten that out. I have 3 '91 T/Cs already and decided not to worry about the part time T/C and might even run the V/C T/C. I have 3 of those too.
