Here's what I have. What you see is superficial rust. There are a couple of dents which you can see, also. Small, and fixable I think. I'll email you a couple of more detail pictures.

Looking for some factory front seats from a 1974+ FJ-40, i have one a good passenger seat but need a drivers or a pair for the front whatever i can get.

Front Factory Seats

I have a mint Passanger seat with a pretty nice Drivers seat.
Yes they have MINT head rests with no rust. This is off a 78 FJ40 with 55k original miles.

Location would be a BIG deal these suckers are HEAVY!

Boy, I'll second the impact driver. Just removed every screw and bolt from my 69 FJ40 and this wonder saved my butt. Wish I started with it.

For screws that are already stripped I drill them out with a sharp bit. Sometimes the rotation will push what's left through the hole. Left hand bits are a good idea where this is not possible. You can also get screw extractors and "easy outs." Just drill a hole in the screw/bolt, insert extractor and remove. I found the impact driver worked well here too.

Also, a good soaking with oil is required, usually several days ahead of time. Good luck.

SHOCKS.....Give me shocks....

I got a set of four fresh out the box ProComp shocks. They are the extended length ones, I think they are 21" compressed. I bought them too soon for my 40. $80 and they are yours. They cost me $120 from Summit.
