29 Tooth Transition Gear for 4spd Tranny / 3spd Tcase Combo

Doing the 4spd Tranny / 3spd Tcase Combo. I have a lead on cheap bearings to do this, I just need the gear. I heard that you might be able to get it out of a '74+ 4spd tcase?

Or anyone have a complete kit laying around they swapped out a toybox for?? I know JT outfitters sells them as a set...

Follow up question, is the DGES/DGAS the same casting as a DGMS ? I remember somebody in the Weber circles commented the casting was different for the DGMS ?

I have a 1983 BJ42. Emblems would be 1/79 and later. Also, an instrument cluster (actually, just the guage face and odometer) with a 6 digit odometer in miles if they exist.

Or check Canuck classifieds for rusted out BJ60s as full donor vehicles. Pick up an H55F tranny while you're at it and you won't be dissappointed. I don't think the 3Bs were ever mated to a 3 spd., so your bell housing requirement may be in earnest.

There are always a couple in the local buy & sell here in vancouver .They usually go for about 12-15 hundred cdn.Try buy&sell.com vancouver I know there is one in this weeks issue.
