Sac. CA, Upgrading 68, need parts
Hello guys,
I am upgrading a 68 fj 40. Adding disc brakes, power steering, 4 spd tranny, bucket seats, new rims... and need parts for it all.
If anyone lives in the Northern CA area, or wants to give me a really good deal on parts, let me know.

$100 for the hood. It's in good shape, no rust, original tan paint. All hardware included, hinges, windshield bumpers, hood holddown hooks, washer nozzles. I can send you pics if interested.

hey bro,
i've got a driver's seat (40/60) out of my 72 that might be of some help. still in the cruiser right now though. about to put in some nice leather bucket seats from the u-pull.
let me know if this one might work (or if you need part(s) of it).

i'm trying to put together a full cage and tie it to the frame, so i won't be needing the old back cage.

I'm in Jackson, Mississippi. The weathered one is probably more my speed and would match what I already have. I plan to use only the tall main and the brackets in the rear along with the original tall main just behind the seats. I will need to fab two straight bars between the mains using the brackets. The brackets will also provide a mount point for rear shoulder belts. Thats why I am also looking for a full length "family" top to cover the back seat as well. Just trying to keep the kids safe and shaded/dry in the back. Its HOT in Mississippi! How is shipping from CO? I have been looking for roll bars for some time, but have not found any reasonably priced that could be shipped inexpensively. Also, do you have any leads on a front cage kit that connects to the OEM bar? Thanks for your help!
