Not certain, but I believe it needs to be an "83 or later bellhousing. Could be wrong though.

I don't know what all bellhousings work but I have an '87 that I know works. I can also get a new H55 and have a splitcase transfer to bolt up. PM me for my #

Razor,

I have a front bumper sitting in the garage, it isn't OEM though (don't know if that matters). Anyway, it is a channel bumper, seriously thick and already has a hole cut in it for a winch set up. I'm up in Fort Collins so if you ever want to stop by to take a look on your way to Moody Hill, let me know.

Michael

hey sweet,
thx for the offer, but I am going all oem (no winch) on the rig...with exception to the BDS kit.

Moody hill rocks, just found that last weekend....you go up there much ?

Tub/Front Cowl/ Steering Wheel in South

Wanted:

-Rust free (or as close as I can get to it) tub, front cowl, and hood
-Stock steering wheel in good condition

Looking for body tub and cowl in the south (Texas to Florida). I am located in Louisiana, would like to be within driving distance so I can inspect and pick up. If you or someone you know has a non running cruiser or tub, cowl, etc that is low on rust (dents do not matter) please let me know and prepare to provide pictures.

Thanks

I believe all 4 speed bellhousings work. Mine was off a late 70's FJ40 and the H55F bolted right up.

looking for a 'cruiser

Hi all,
First time poster here. I'm looking for a mid-late 80's 60/62 series wagon. I've always got my eyes open and my ear to the ground, but there just aren't many around.
I live in Calgary, Alberta.
Lots of Japanese vehicles coming into Canada. I've thought about this option as well.
Can anyone out there shed some light on my situation?
Thanks for the time....

I am still missing a few pieces, If any one has them please let me know.

I need everything in the photo related to "F" and part 52. Thanks for the help guys.

Warren.

Razor,
I've only been up Moody Hill once and Crystal Mountain twice. Moody was a good climb, but two of the local off road clubs showed up at the same time, causing a 36 truck traffic jam on the first steep stretch.

Once the group I was with got past the lead vehicle of the main group, we had a good time. I didn't push my truck too hard on the Moody Hill trip because the friend I was with was scouting out some hunting spots on some of the back road ATV trails.

Just called a couple local dealers,
all a bunch of :princess: , no help whatso ever...actually RUDE, want to go hang some s*** on em..........

I was totally polite and new exactly what I wanted......what a bunch of loosers, this is the 3rd time I have been in that dealer and not treated properly....

Never again will I step foot near that toyota dealershop...

Longmont Toyota, what a bunch of :princess:

Check tdealer for emblems and hub caps. I'm pretty sure both are still available new.

Razor,
I know it is a little out of your way, but I've been really lucky most of the time at both Pedersen Toyota in Fort Collins, and Ehrlich Toyota in Greeley. I've price checked both of them before on the same item and Ehrlich has been cheaper for parts and Pedersen has been cheaper for service. I'm normally in Greeley once a month so if I can plan ahead I'll order what I need through Ehrlich. I've only purchased a couple of items through them and mostly for my 1995 FZJ80.

I did by chance order something through Pedersen for the 78, and I have the feeling that if the part isn't in the Kansas City Depot, then they will claim it is no longer available.

Good luck.

Thanks for the link

Great looking rig.
I'm looking for a wagon though, a little more practical for me.
Go Canucks!

call ron at mountain states. he's pretty good. if i've got it correct, front bib screen emblem is p/n 75321 90300, side is 95343 70351 and rears are 75450 60011 (toy) and 75453 60012 (4wd). front cap should be 62621 40020 and rear should be 62621 40010. that's sloppy hand writing and old numbers, so have them double check that the numbers are the parts you want.

Did you buy a new 40? I must have missed that thread. I take it you finally caved and took the money.. That would have paid for the 40 and the 60.

Razor. new OEM pewter bumper is $100, bumperettes are $25 each, hub caps are $60 for a set. Emblems can be had new but I forget the price, prolly $20 each(mine for my 64 were) Check with Cdan......he can hook ya up. That is if you want new or have no luck with used.

There was ONE chrome OEM bumper left in the US and a few chrome bumpettes(more in Japan).......but a funny thing happened.......:D

kick vents new are like $10, get the rubber gaskets if they don't come with them
