I've got the whole setup from a 55 sitting in my garage.

I have a little Hobart 135 with gas and it works great, we have done bumpers, roll cages, spring overs, power steering, you name it. I saw from the link to Lowe's that you must be in the Ogden area, I bought mine from Cristensen welding on 2900 south about 1800 west. (It's called Norco now, but it's the same guys) Those guys were great, they let me take three different welders home to try them before I decided what to buy.

Column shift linkage

Looking for 3spd column shift linkage parts. Mainly looking for anyone who converted to power steering and has their old stuff. I have a sloppy 71 and know the parts are hard to come by, just looking ahead.

...and I'll second Ige's recommendation for Tarnow (though he actually lives south of the Quads about 10 miles on the Illinois side and just works in Bettendorf).

he's a great guy and has got a PILE of parts. I get stuff from him all the time - in fact I have a new fuel door sitting right here that just arrived in the mail from him today.

I just need a set of 16" ghetto rims for my fj40. So if your close to Minnesota or have a set thats free or really cheap I won't mind paying for shipping.

I will keep my eyes open Mike... I have a rebuilt 2F from an 84' that will be available soon, but at least a couple weeks out.

I can also Pull a running motor out, throw mine in the back of my rig and slap yours in too... that is an option.

If the Long block is working, It may be feasable... but my optimum desire is to not have to deal with gaskets. If I can rip mine out, put another one in and be done that would be best.
