Will a '76 work in a '71? I hear things about 1 wire and 2 wires. Don't know which mine has.

What kind of condition is it?

Have you had it working?

This one worked fine when I took it out but it could use some new paint. I just checked Spector and they do show three different rear heater motors for the follows years:
1. 1964-9/73
2. 9/73-1/79
3. 1/79-1982

So, a 71 may be different then this 76. I would expect them to all be 12v but perhaps they are single vs. dual speeds or a different wire connector style, etc. I can take pictures of this one if you want more details about it.

I've got one in Kansas and could probably send it down to Texas with some other stuff in a couple weeks or can ship it if he pays the freight. It's been sitting a while and needs a top cover. I could probably come up with a complete J30 in a day or two. Same deal, just buy the ride.

$80? That is not a bad price considering Marlin's $291 each. The local 4x4 shop here has Warn's for $150. I don't really like Warns though.

Why not go with a Tracker/Sidekick fold-n-tumble rear seat? $10 at the salvage yard fits the fenderwells. I can get pics if you want'em. Just a thought.

Still looking. I think any post 1986 GM flywheel should work. I have an 11" clutch. The best I can find for a new one locally is $130. Seems pretty steep. Any suggestions?

Thought I could kill two birds with one stone - instead of buying the sheet metal piece for the back from Specter - I could mount the plate on the storage bin - plus I need lockable storage on the Rez!
