Nuts and bolts

Hi Guys,

Where can I buy bulk nuts and bolts for an fj45 frame up restoration.

I'm talking about the anodized or whatever they are (gold coloured) bolts, like the 10mm and 12mm socket size. I used to work at a car manufacturing plant years ago, I would take home a pocket full of nuts and bolts pretty much everyday - now they are all gone

Most places sell them for about a buck each - when they really only cost a couple of cents each.

Anyone know of a bulk supplier?

Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters has one. Are you sure it is fine spline, if not both he and I have coarse spline ones and we are in Northern Utah. Does someone have a list of bolts that are on a cruiser? Or maybe a general list? I know alot of the bolts are 10mm and 12mm for sheet metal.

SOR sells bulk nuts and bolts for land cruisers. They are the gold (cadmium plated with chromate coloring) hardware. SOME of those are Toyota parts, and should be available in bulk, from CDan or your dealer, if you can figure out the parts numbers. The issue is figuring out which are what. (Dan and I are working on some of those now).

It looks to me that the nutsandbolts.com hardware isn't cadmium plated.

Whatever will fit a 2/80 FJ40. I would love to have a pair of early swing out half doors but not sure of they will fit.

they will, just not a perfect seal. and you'll have to drill new holes...i ran a set on my 78 and loved them
