Hi guys,
Using @cruisermatt ‘s vent hose replacement kit and all has gone great with it. I’m chasing a gas smell on the cab issue so figured I’d search for a clogged vent line. All the hoses looked fine, but I stick a very thin screwdriver into one of the metal ports the lower vent hoses attach to and noticed something hard halfway down the port. You’ll see in this picture they’re above the right passenger fender connected to the fuel tank, so I’ve Waited to starch these last vent hoses until I know if something is ubstirxting this #5 port internally or if there’s some sort of valve on the see I’m not aware of. If a 60 owner wouldn’t mine detaching there’s and checking if there’s something blocking theirs this might be the only way to tell. ( there’s Tape input over these ports to keep dust out)
Thanks
Dan
