How about fj60 over modern lc76
The are the same wheelbase
Is it possible no need for cut and welding the chassis

One downside is that the rear axle is narrower than the front on the 70 series and arent they leaf springs in the back? The 80 series would have coils in the rear.

Axles are generally narrower in the rear than the front. 5cm isn't a lot.. You might even be able to use the 60 series rear axle.
