Hi guys! It's came down to deciding what color I want to do my interior in. I settled on a saddleback leather look. There's a guy that makes reproduction panels that look great that I plan on doing business with I just need help deciding how much brown is too much? Everyone's opinion is welcomed. I'm at a loss on going black door panels and brown seats or brown door panels and brown seats. If anyone has pictures of brown interior on their pig please post them! Or any other color for that matter so I can get an idea on what it will look like.
Oh and I have factory black carpet going in it if that makes a difference to anyone.

I saw one guys interior on his pig that was brown but the color didn't match his seats. I will post some pictures of the build soon. Thanks guys!
Oh and this is my first post so if something is out of whack or wrong I apologize!!
Love the forum, been on it for years just never posted until now.
Thanks again!

I would go with coral colored leather seats like the old fj40s and black dash pad with coral leather here and there on door panels and such.
Agreed! Thanks man, I love that color. Especially with an old green land cruiser. Do you think it would be too much if I went coral all around on seats and panels?

Im not totally sure but i do kinda think it would be too much if you did it all around and totally covered the door panels with it. Brown saddle type leather would also look cool as you mentioned above. It would also be a bit easier to keep looking clean during actual use.

Right, that's kind of my reasoning towards the slightly darker brown. She won't be a show truck. She'll be used as a weekend truck and camping rig to take on small trips fishing and mountain biking. So needless to say there will be some dirt going in and out of her. I think the old cruisers are happier that way hahaha.

Beautiful looking pig I myself would go for a more stock neutral color .
Thanks man! And like the black? Black is still an option for me for sure. The purists will appreciate it that way. I'm all for factory originality but I've always wanted a green pig with that brown interior. I think the combo of those colors go well. Do y'all have any pictures of yalls?

Simply gorgeous! One nice thing is I bet nobody says; "nice Jeep". We get that ALL the time with the 40's

Thanks, I appreciate that a lot! And isn't that the worst!? I still drive my 40 on the weekends and it kills me a little bit more every time I hear someone say that :crybaby:

Dang Man!!! Nice paint job for sure...and, you are a true cruiser guy with the motorcycle in the garage and a pickup to boot. Nice work on the pig. Can't help with the interior colors but camel with brown accents should be a show stopper IMHO.

Have you asked the regulars over in the FJ55 Iron Pig Preservation Society?

nice pig! I vote for OEM SAGE over white...but leather is cool too!

those guys are crazy...

Hahaha I've seen you a time or two in the fine swine preservation society forums. Was literally drooling down here in Texas looking at yalls pictures from the pig party this year. Needless to say I'll be attending next year for sure :grinpimp:

I had some guy last weekend call my LV a Willys .
Really!? A willys!? I take comments like that almost as insults hahaha. What is with the American public and it's infatuation with jeeps!? I don't understand, nor do I ever want to!

Thanks man I appreciate it! The bike helps with gas hahah. My cruisers and pickup are lucky to get 12 mpg. Y'all know all about that tho hahah
