Hi,

I am nearing the end of a long restoration of that car and would like to know the colors used by Toyota.
Apparently, the wagons were all two tone with the upper body Lilly white T-403.
Spring green T-1028 looks good to me.
When we found the car, it was dark green all over.
Any thoughts and comments will be welcome!

Nice looking LV! Very cool to see something like that in Kenya. RHD OR LHD? Have a tailgate or ambulance doors? Folks here would love to see more photos!

As for colors have seen Capri blue like mine, red, brown, and green but I’m sure there were more. I think they did ship some as a single paint color.

I love spring green. Never seen that on an LV but I’m sure it would look good!

It's RHD with tailgates.

Very nice looking LV.
What's on the roof? Or is it something that is behind the truck?

A couple of the V's that have popped up in Australia have been a single colour green and originally used by forestry and national park entitities.

Thanks! Does yours have tailgates or barn doors?

My 67 LV is Spring Green and White. Personally I prefer the 2 tone look on the wagons.

They were available brand new from Oz but it looks like they are no more

They had repro LV taillight lenses as well that I helped them make the molds for.

I’m surprised nobody has tried to replicate the lenses especially since Kromo closed up shop (45 LV taillights, ‘73 reverse light, 1958-10/69 FJ40 & FJ45 clear bib lights, ‘61-‘63 orange/red screw in turn signal lenses).

Here’s a couple videos of the process:

Thanks. Looks like they have permanently closed up shop. That's a bummer.

I'd sure like to find a set of those lenses somewhere.
