OK so I know the 63-67 LV did not come from the factory with reverse lights.
However in looking through the remnants of the LV rear chassis harness I have, the red/blue wire for reverse lights is there but it goes to a bullet connector that was for the trailer connector.
My questions are:
Do those of you who own an LV have a column mounted reverse switch?
Is it connected to two Red/Blue wires on the main cowl harness?
Why would Toyota install the wiring and switch on a truck that does not have a reverse light? I know that reverse lights became standard in 1968 but the harness I have is a 1965...
Why would they think that trucks exported to the US would need a trailer reverse light?
The optional reverse light that was available, did it plug into the trailer plug?
