Mine’s from a ‘91 FJ80... I also paid $75 + shipping... I just installed it.
As @Tools R Us (thanks!) advised, you have to drill and plant two 1/8” roll pins, to cancel the turn signals. I drilled 1/2” deep and inserted two 1” roll pins, leaving 1/2” protruding.
You may also need to adjust the positive contact, I did. The FJ80 wheel’s contact track is about 3/16” wider than the FJ40 track.
I’m very pleased!! It looks and feels great... the smaller diameter and larger grip is much more comfortable!!
Here’s a pic... it’s not crooked, I was... my tools are carried under the seat, but right now they’re in the footwell.

Could you post a picture from the side to show how it looks against the clamshell cover on the column?

Agree and still has the Cruiser look. All that I have done had power steering, don't know how it would be with manual.

Hi, what are those seat? It's not a Toyta wheel, but I used a Grant wheel Part #1160 - Collectors Edition and adaptor. I think it has a 13.75 Diameter.
The "TEQ" horn I bought off ebay. I also have the Grant horn button that covers the mounting screws, just have not swapped it out yet.

old thread i know. any chance you still have that steering wheel? My rig has PS and wanted a smaller steering wheel. I found, refurbished and installed an Toyota AE86 leather steering wheel.....but after a few months, went back to the larger OEM unit and installed a cheap wrap for it.
