I will be driving right by there though. In South Lake Tahoe this weekend and will be driving down Hwy 50 on Wed.

Been traveling and Mudshipping in route so I'm a little behind on the project list.

I did not like the rear crossmember I had. installing the twins stick were too tight and I have the room so I dropped the tranny back down a bit so the engine sits at 5 degrees.

I made a new style crossmember from the stock FJ60 crossmember.

I welded the side brackets just like Ige taught me too.

The fan is a bit more out of the schroud than before so I will be having a new thicker adaptor made.

Run it before you screw with it. I bet it'll be fine.

Used a second crossmember for the traction bar.

A little cutting, grinding, plating and welding to make it fit.

Ran the hard fuel lines down the drivers side frame.

From the engine all the way back to the fuel tanks.

The tank selector valve will go back by the tanks.

Changed the oil in the 8274 and mounted it. Time to measure and have driveshaft made, again.


I also have to order a twin stick set up since what I have will not work with the Irion 4:1HD.

I just got home and will work in it tonight.

I picked up my twin stick assy from AA and my driveshafts from Driveline of Fresno while traveling this week. I have to leave again in 10 hours so I doubt I will get too much done.

Part # 3.1108B was a perfect fit for my application. (B is for Blue). This is also a GM Transmisison mount but is built to interlock so it will not come apart.

Summit racing has them as well. I understand that it is a standard GM transmission mount.
