I read TXLX100's thread for ideas and modified it a bit for myself. I have no shelf and made it as low as possible using 3/4" ply and 24" slides from HD. I purchased longer bolts to secure the slide. They bolt into where the four factory holes are for the seat brackets.

Still wrapping it up. I'm spraying them the bronze color that matches the brown interior trim....

Finished the fridge slide! While I have some ideas on how to lock it in place, I haven't settled on one yet. The more I think about it, I almost want to upgrade these slides to heavier duty ones with a built in locking mechanism...

What are the slides rated for? I don't remember seeing anything at the big box stores heavy duty enough to make me feel comfortable securing a fridge. The static and empty weight of the fridge is one thing, but when I considered the loaded weight along with the certainty of bouncing around off road and then the possibility of being in a crash/roll I wanted something a bit stronger. There are affordable options outside of the high dollar ones many people choose (check this place out: http://www.tchweb.com/tchstore/category/drawerslides/s0/520---Drawer-Slides.html ).

As far as rating, they are 100lbs slides. They are the largest/heaviest ones they had for sale. I'll see how they hold up and replace if they don't work out. It will be hard, but I do want to stay within the dimensions of these slides for any replacement. They measure 1 3/4"H x 1/2"W.

Cut, drilled, and painted some steel for a bigger battery hold down. The OE one doesn't fit the 31M battery. Longer J-hooks also required to complete the installation...

LED light bar installed! Installing an on/off switch on the drivers battery tray when I find where it is.... 3M molding tape to attach light to hood.

Zip tied to under-hood insulation and ran wire underneath to windshield washer hose.

While waiting for someone to fab up Puma mounts again, I decided to tackle it a more cost affective way. Making my fridge slide gave me some inspiration to use what materials I had laying around for the mount. It utilizes the factory seat bracket, 3/4" ply, modified electrical conduit, and some hardware.

Cardboard template.

Electrical conduit squeezed, drilled, bent and painted.

Painted Rust-Oleum Bronze and mounted.

U-bolts and new bracket in place.

Puma finally at Home!!!!!!

Trimmed the original rubber feet for the spacers.

This was needed for the tank to clear the U-bolts. Used fender washers on opposite side.

Bought some lashing straps to secure the fridge. They seem to do a pretty good job at securing it. Sure is nice to be somewhere and decide to have something cold to drink on the spot!
