I was able to get all the fuel, coolant electric lines and everything else connected last night and fire her up with the New Troll Hole carb!!!

She runs like a Dream now!!!

Thank you Troll Hole!!!

That is awesome!!! Congrats bro, definitely turning into a great looking truck and like that you went with the silver and black for the engine. What paint did you use for the block paint?

Thanks gregnash!

I just used the duplicolor engine paint.

I was able to tear down the front end last night going to take me some Time to clean all these parts!!

Thanks GLTHFJ60!
I have been watching your Build, your Rig is awesome! Hows the 4BT treating you. :)

Thank you! Moonshine is a work in progress. The 4BT is badass man, I love it. Tons of power and an accurate 22mpg on the last tank.

GLTHFJ60, I also wanted to let you know, that I got so many Ideas from your build!
1. Doing the frame off
2. Using Raptor Liner for the Frame and Body.

Bunch of other ideas.

You have done a lot of work to that rig!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Glad I could help

Moonshine has had a lot of work, but she's got a lot more to go!

This makes me wish I had the time/space/money to do a frame off. It would be nice to get in there and clean the frame and underbody up so as to get rid of the minimal rust I have down there and finally get a chance to chase the damn leaks I have..

Yea, when I started to pull mine apart I was amazed by the fact the rig was not rusted at all. I was able to get the help of my friends and get the body off. I am working on rebuilding the front end and installing my new Assuie locker!!!! Cant wait.

When doing the frame off preventing the Body and the frame fro rusting was my main concern.

I had the same logic with my build.

Did you coat the inside of your frame with anything or no?

Man that looks like some nice stuff. I know my buddy wayne loves Eastwood products, we have been using them on his 69 mustang restore I am helping him with.

Thanks for the information.

No problem man! Keep up the good work with your build. We'll be watching :grinpimp:

I have been trying to figure out an issue with my rig. I just got a new Troll Hole carb, but the same thing happen with the stock carb. Seems that once the Rig gets to normal temps it will have a little miss at idle every once in a while. Smells like it is running really rich also. Has done it with both carbs. Not sure at this point.

Don't know about on the Trollhole but on the stock carb there is the idle mix screw that may need messing with along with doing the "Lean Drop" method. Mine has always sounded like there is a slight miss, I have taken that it is just the way the engine runs.

My buddy states that since it only does it at Idle and smells a little rich, that is ok. It is really strong and does not miss at high RPMs so I dont think i am going to mess with it. TrollHole carb is awesome though bolt on fired right up!
