So my Dad has a 94 FJ80.
We was able to order all out parts together and he got a 3" old man emu and an ARB bumper.
I was able to get him a SmityBuilt 8000 pound winch and do the install this weekend.
Here are some pics, turned out awesome!

Working on the Frame

I was able to work on the frame with my buddy Ryan. We was able to remove everything from the frame and and get it ready to wire wheel down and primer. I think I am going to rebuild the Axles first and then work on the frame, still got a lot of work to do!

Rear End

Does anyone know, and good doc or something that will show me step by step on how to take the rear end apart. I have the FSM but wanted to have some other docs from other people to make sure I am doing everything correct taking it apart and putting it back together.

As you can see in the pics above I was able to remove the main pin and then take the C-Clips out to remove the Axles. From there I was able to remove the Axles and the 3rd member. From there I have not done anything else, waiting to get some more info before tearing down the 3rd member.

Frame

I was able to finish wire wheeling the frame and was able to Prime it!!
Now I have to work on body and then it is Raptor Liner time!

I am wanting to coat the bottom of the body with Raptor liner, does anyone know how much I will have to clean/Scuff up for this stuff to stick correctly?

If you dissasemble your third you should set backlash again. You can simply disassemble it, but if your not replacing bearings or changing gears there isnt much reason, though if it does have a lot of km's on that third checking your backlash and adjusting it would probably be good as it would have a bit more slop in it after everything has some mileage.

There is a plate that keeps an adjustment ring from turning, that moves your differential side to side, which increases or decreases your backlash, that is all you should be adjusting unless you have parts you want to replace.

Yea I want to replace all the bearing on the Third Member.
I have the FSM and was going to follow that.
Thanks for the info. :)

Was able to raptor liner the frame, turned out awesome!! :) raptor liner was very easy to spray and covered very easy. Only used 3 of the 4 bottles to put 3 coats on frame.

SO yea i just called Summit Racing, I saw that my Procomp Custom rims shipped out on the 22nd but there was no tracking number. Talked to the Rep and he stated that they will be delivered tomorrow :) !!!!!! About time, only took 2 months!!!

Talked to my awesome Buddy Wayne and he is going to order my Aussie Lockers for me :)

Cant wait to do the install, going to be awesome.

Anyone have any pointers on installing Aussie Locker, I know it will be pretty straight forward.

I also called and talked to the Tech at Aussie Locker and he stated that the install was really easy and the Locker is the same for the back and front. I will make sure to have plenty of pics when I do the install. I am planning on replacing bearing and seals in the front and rear end.

Over the Past couple weeks I have been able to do a lot of work to the Cruiser.

1. Finish the Frame
2. Install the Brake, Fuel and Vacuum Lines
3. Raptor Liner the Body
4. Install new Clutch and Pressure Plate
5. Get the engine, trans and transfercase bolted back on the frame
6. Drop the body back down on the Frame
7. Fire the engine up

Here are some pics of some of the work

Thanks to all my friends for helping.
