I am jealous... I am starting to get the itch for lockers but wondering if I should go with manual or save up and do something like the ARB or TJM air lockers. Alas that will probably be further down the road due to cost as I need to get other things taken care of first.
 
I really thought about which lockers I wanted to go with. I know that ARB Air lockers would have been awesome but I will tell you. My buddy has Air lockers with his and he has had so many issues with the pump, lines and some other things over time. He is a avid mudder and uses them all the time. Now his lockers are not ARB lockers, they are the stock jeep rubicon air lockers. From that point I decided after doing some research and watching youtube vids I decided to go with the Aussie locker. Best bang for the buck. Plus they will warranty and they do not care about HP or Tire size.
 
So now I am at the Point where I need to clean all my parts and put it all back togather.
I bought a completed rebuild kit from Man a Fre and will be replacing all the parts.

What is the best way to clean the beirfeild joints?
Use brake cleaner and then pack full with wheel bearing grease?

I was able to get the fj60 back on the road. She runs pretty good need to do some more tweaks and modify a couple things. Was able to driver out to the beach yesterday she ran great.

So I had to get the front drive shaft lengthen. Well toon it to the shop they out new u joints Ina and everything. Except, the never lengthen it .... Lol. I had to take it back up there and they fixed it for free :)

Nice! i just got finished with my axle rebuild as well, messy stuff haha. Wagon looks GREAT.
 
So when I went to GA to hang out with my buddy Wayne we decided to go ridding around on his farm. Well little did we know that the st.marys river divided to dig a ditch in his yard about 6 foot deep that I could not see and drove into.

Lol guns times.

Keep in mind the grass is about 3-4 foot tall that's why I could not see the ditch!

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. What size are your Soft 8s? I am at a dilemma as I want new rims/wheels to be able to get something bigger and like the Soft 8 and the Eagle Alloy 058 (MT Classic Clone). Looking at possibly doing 17"ers!

Yea we had lots of fun!

Here is the Rims I went with, they are 17".

Pro Comp Xtreme Rock Crawler Series 98 Black Wheels 98-7983S3-5

There are a couple things you have to think about before you order these rims, good and bad.
1. Good - The back spacing on these rims are 3.5", which is the stock/perfect back spacking.
2. Good - The rims are steel, really strong.
3. Good - The center bore is perfect for the front hubs!
4. Bad - They have to be custom made by procomp and took 60 days for me to get them. :(

Overall I am very happy that I got them, they fit great with no issues.
If you have time to wait, get them.
 
So my fun time in the swamp filled my transfer case with water :(

Came out side the other day and found this on the ground :(
