Well, FYI, the new CSC have put on a new membership drive...
Why not join up then? You know, I was the last CSC member to join using the old paper system...nowadays chuy is working on a patent for a "one click" on-line process for joining. It will have a real time updates of each business step in the work flow (they're spoiling you new guys). And any color shirt (except yellow-those are for us founding members). I think I'm gonna start taking better care of my old school csc shirt (it's already circa 2011).
Please don't let your Mensa membership exclude you from joining...

When did this change, ChaseTruck is a full member, has been for a very longtime. The way membership worked was family friendly, when dad signed up, the family are members, no need for each family member to join. In this case, the head of the household (DSRTRDR) signed up, making the dependent (ChaseTruck) a member.
Maybe one of the "sheep/undesirable members", but member none the less.

I am not aware of this family friendly policy that you are talking about. I have not been able to verify this information with founding members. I remember hearing DSRTRDR's membership application was accepted and ChaseTruck's application was rejected during your administration. It is

In case you missed it, Kevin posted a question to jjgarci1 and me. I was simply responding to the question. I never questioned their contribution so I don't know what your purpose is by bringing that into here. Feel free to add me to your ignore list.
I tried to sign my wife up when she got her own Land Cruiser, but was told she was already a member. Which made perfect sense as the club was an un-club anyway, with no official standing and a bare minimum of organization or hierarchy. It was just a gathering of Land Cruiser enthusiasts. It seems that it's moving towards some kind of commercialized organization, with rules and guidelines that I might fall afoul of. I'm trying to remain open-minded, but so far I am not impressed. I prefer the very informal and loosely organized format, with camaraderie and wheeling the only focus. The forum is dry now, I feel like if I interject with a friendly comment I will be taken to task for being off-topic. What used to be a fun place to catch up with my wheeling buddies is now a vendor's market and bitchfest. What's going on around here?

Doesn't matter to me, my wife likely doesn't care if she can wear her CSC shirt anymore. It was heavily discussed back in the beginning and IIRC this is the adopted policy. It's the same as/mirrors most other clubs (like AzLCA, TLCA, etc). If the policy has changed, those with families may want to explore other options that are more family friendly/accommodating? Who, phantoms don't count.

His choice, but doesn't change anything, at least under the old policy, he was still a member. Likely a good time to write down a set of rules, so members know what to expect, what the policies are?
