From the native environment for the truck :))) up Four Peaks Road, over to Lake Roosevelt, and down the Apache trail. Back to FH via Usery/Bush/Beeline - what a neat day :bounce:.

Whose truck is that?

you seriously think someone would let me borrow one ?

that's the "we will never buy a non-running vehicle - ever" truck --- I bought it when Michael was in Germany :whoops: - and yeah, it wasn't running

:flamingo: :grinpimp:

You were in the passenger side in those pics, is Michael in town?

Are ya selling the 40 now? :hillbilly:

Just this weekend to help Claudia a bit. X-ray today.

If anything, the Blazer will have to be let go if I can't get the death wobble fixed -I've got the Crane kingpin slugs on standby, though. But it's got working A/C again.

The LX is getting the black fan clutch/3FE fan treatment next time I'm here.

the AZ special plate commission reviewed and rejected my application for PNKPNTY as a license plate - apparently, both PINK and PANTY are considered to have connotations undesirable on AZ license plates

oh well :meh:

I'm requesting 97PP80 for the LX....on a Breast Cancer Awareness pink plate, or whatever the Komen campaign has morphed into, same as the GX.

No one will ever even know it's a personalized plate, which I normally wouldn't want, anyway.

I was denied "FPIG", "1FPIG", and "1FDPIG" for the 72 plate, but they accepted "72 PIG".....but can't get her to an agent for a VIN inspection for awhile.

After driving the 76 for a total of forty minutes and being hounded by the masses at every stop, the typical query "what year Toyota is that?" going to request "76 PIG", to answer the question and save unsuspecting folks from my bubbling, joyous, terminally happy personality.

That would've been done on Friday or Saturday, after shopping tag agencies that would accept a now declared, voided title.

Hopefully, soon.

You know you're gonna rip the lace right off your PP80 the first tiptoeing through the rocks, right?

Might as well fire up the welder and start filling in the 162 holes that cladding and flare removal will expose, now, as a preemptive measure.

Oh, and welcome to the exclusive Pink Panty 80 Club, by the way. :flipoff2:

Kevin has set a bad example for Tupperware retention.

Yep, can't wheel with that s*** on, it will all fall off.

Fire up the MIG.

It's time to de-Lexify the PP80.

While you're at it, how about chopping off the lower rear quarters where it rolls in, tapering and shortening the rear frame rails, fabbing a tube bumper that attaches to the side of frame rail higher up, since the quarter isn't in the way, protects the corners, doesn't drag on every thing, is stout enough to be abused, and looks halfway decent?

Sounds like logical/realistic minimum mods to start wheeling an '80.

Um why? Remember, she's got a 40... :D

Do I sense a hint of sarcasm?

AC, leather seats, and the stigma attached with wheeling a Lexus.......

hey, it's not a Blazer

True, but even without the frilly, pink plastics the bared body still haves curves that an ol' Blazer can only dream about.

You know, the designers were really on to something with the plastic cladding because it does minimize the door dings and other minor
maladies most common at the mall or tennis club parking lots.
