Finished the 40

Just wanted to brag on my Dad, he has been working on his 40 for a year now and just about has it 100%. Here's a few pics, I convinced him to go with the stock wheels and he was glad he listened.

In the interest of tech, what is the best way to plug the carb heater hole on the intake manifold? Thanks

I wish I could, he was telling me about it over the phone. (we live 1,000 miles apart) I think its a hole above the exhaust and on the underside of the stock 2f 1978 air intake manifold, bout the size of a baseball? Anyone know what I might be blabbering on about?

he might be talking about the hole where the heat plate was in the exhaust manifold.(where the pivot rod goes)

maybe my dad will brag on me when i finish mine. him and my whole family laughed at me when i bought it and said i would never finish it. so far he is shocked how much work i have done, so hes kind of shut up lately about the doubts

x 2 on the radial, rebuilt one in school many years ago with a instructor who was a radial ninja! That Master rod thing is pretty weird when you first see it

I do like the stock tires, and the hi-lift mount at the rear.
